On July 1, Medicare fully implemented a substantial cut to the home respiratory benefit. The cut is 50 percent or more for home respiratory therapy, and CMS provided only a 6-month phase-in. While CMS reports there are no problems, a few months of data is not sufficient to understand the true impact of the cut on patients. Please help by writing to your Members of Congress asking them to extend the phase-in of this cut.
